When God Seems Silent

Imagine here you are, you are a person after God's heart and after His ways. You are being obedient. You are following everything He says step by step. Then all of the sudden, the voice goes silence. I know that feeling. The desire to be like a headless chicken. The "where are you God" moments. Those are the moments you have to say, "What was the last thing He said to me". I found that it usually means  what was the last thing He said to you. Sometimes, we say oh God is silent because He isn't speaking. I agree and disagree. But most times the real question is "Is He not speaking or are we not Listening". This is nothing new to us. We know this question. We get so discontent and discourage. We kick and scream. We catch a childlike fit. Stop and ask yourself, What does He want me to do. The last thing He said. Once you do that, then He will give you the next step, then the next one and this process repeats itself as you walk into your destiny and fulfill your assignments for the Lord.
